THE world has been watching as Johnny Depp and Amber Heard share personal accounts of their relationship in court.

With the defamation lawsuit now in its fifth week, Johnny's lawyer Camille Vasquez has cross-examined Amber.

Who is Johnny Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez?

Camille Vasquez is a 37-year-old associate at Brown Rudnick in the Firm's Litigation & Arbitration Practice Group.

She gained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School. 

According to Brown Rudnick's website, her current practice focuses on plaintiff-side defamation suits.

Prior to Brown Rudnick, Camille was an attorney at a national firm in Los Angeles and is now based in Orange County.

Camille has experience in high profile cases and is fluent in Spanish.

What has Camille Vasquez questioned Amber Heard over in trial?

Camille grilled Amber over a number of claims she has made throughout the trial.

One query was over whether or not Amber donated the entirety of her divorce settlement money to charity.

An intense showdown played out as Camille attempted to get Amber to specifically acknowledge the $7million sum had not yet been donated.

Amber was adamant her wording had been she "pledged" the money and although has not donated it in its entirety, she plans to fulfill the obligation.

Another element of Camille's questioning was around why Johnny will not look at Amber in court.

An audio recording was played of Johnny and Amber seeing each other one of their final times after she publicly accused him of domestic violence.

Johnny says to Amber "we'll never see each other again... you will not see my eyes again".

Camille asked Amber if Johnny had kept his promise, to which she answered she believed he had, and said "he can't" look at her.

Camille has previously prosecuted two breach of fiduciary cases for a high-profile client.
