This also spurred WWE’s primary reality show Total Divas. What’s more, this duo also gave WWE one of its most-watched matches. The WrestleMania 33 match in 2017 saw John Cena propose to the beautiful Bella.
When this high-profile couple broke it off in 2018, fans and admirers around the world were disappointed. It is rumored that their split was because The Prototype did not want kids. However, here’s something that fans perhaps don’t know.
Nikki Bella is currently married, and her brother-in-law Bryan Danielson once accused her of cheating on Cena. Yes! You heard that right. This took place after the 19th January episode of Total Divas, which aired in 2016. In the clip, Bella can be seen conversing with her ex-boyfriend Dolph Ziggler.
The accusation and proof
Basically, the episode that became the reason for this accusation saw Bella and Ziggler together. When Ziggler came together with Nikki and Brie Bella for dinner, Danielson believed that there were some hints of flirting.
Furthermore, the video clip also shows Ziggler moving in for a kiss. All this was happening while John Cena was in a match.
“Were you just gonna kiss me? Honestly, I thought more of you,” is what Bella told Ziggler after he made that advance.
Owing to all of this, Danielson accused Bella of cheating on John Cena. Therefore, the former WWE wrestler was quick to pin the blame on her. This reportedly led to Nikki asking Brian why he was giving her dirty looks. To this, Danielson replied, “It looks like you were cheating.”
Despite this, Ziggler kept ongoing after the WWE Divas Champion. But in the end, things didn’t work out. John Cena and Nikki Bella broke things off in July, 2018.
